"Getting Confused"

"Logismoi, (pronounced, log-is-mee) are thoughts and thought/images that come to us to lead us away from Christ.  They are distracting and are a result of the fall of mankind."

Paul over and over Prophesied that the Gnosis would be lost – basically testimony/truth or God’s word – and would be replaced by the wisdom of man – or logismoi! After the 2^nd Century most of the Gnosis was lost – the last of the Apostles died in shortly after 150AD – and of course John was no longer available to be seen by those left in Judea and other parts of the once Primitive Church. By this time the Gnostics (false teachers) arrived on the scene in full force (some were around even at the time of the Apostles – Peter spoke of them in his letters to James his brother).

Thus false teachings had already begun. By the advent of the 3^rd Century Greek Philosophy (Rhetoric) had supplanted most of the schools of the Philosophers and the early Christian Fathers were fed this as mother’s milk. Augustine and Origen were the foremost as both students and then teachers. At this point when the last of the members of the Primitive Church would not convert to the new way of thinking about the Scriptures – that they were not to be taken literally – changes came fast and were never reversed – thus fulfilling all of the Prophesies of the Prophets to include Paul – and the other Apostles and most surely the Savior. At this point the Apostasy or the loss of truth was transferred to the logismoi of the Creeds (which still exist today). Any who still persisted in the literal truths of the Scriptures were killed at the orders of the heads of the reformed churches – including Augustine who gave approval to the murders.

Ever since those days of the 3^rd and 4^th Centuries reformations have taken place – most notably with Luther and those of his time – but still the reformations were locked to the creeds of men/women – and to this day have not gone back to the literal truths of the Scriptures. Thus as also foretold by the Prophets and Apostles – and the Savior – there would have to be a Restoration as one cannot take a live branch from a dead tree.

The logismoi had to be done away with – replaced with once more the Gnosis – Revelation, Prophets and Apostles again had to be called by God to do this work – and as the Jewish scholars had long foretold that a ben Joseph had to come before ben David (the Savior). This happened in the early 1800’s – but still today almost all of the known world rejects it now as they did then.

Partly the reason is that there’ve been over 120,000 changes to the Bible since about 1880 – and I believe over 20,000 editions of the Bible. The Jewish religion only use the first five books of the Old Testament – the Catholic Church only the first four books of the New Testament – other religions of the world follow lock step with regard to the non-literalness of the Bible (to be taken with a grain of salt) and fully condemn any other Scriptures, Revelations and or Prophets and Apostles in our day.

"Itching the Itch" (pondering thoughts from documented history)

“We are well aware that the Bishops and writers of ancient times when discussing the theology of the Father and the Son never used the word homoousios.” … “The faith here promulgated … we all agreed upon, not without careful examination and according to opinions presented and agreed upon in carefully stated logismoi, and in the presence of the most devout Emperor.”  Eusebius speaking/writing about the various councils which formulated the various early creeds in the records kept by Socrates*, Ecclesiastical History I, 5-6 in PG 67:41. (J.-P. Migne, Patrologiae Cursus Completus … Series Graeca (Paris: J.-P. Migne, 1857-1866), 161 Volumes. (To understand this one must understand Paul 2 Cor 10:4-5 in the original text, “…that revealed knowledge, the Gnosis, invalidates or confounds all logismoi, that is calculations of men. And Eusebius when referring to the Niacin Creed is nothing more than carefully worded logismoi. Thus the creeds of men/women are not the words of the Father or the Son – but those of men/women and are the cornerstone of all but one Church in the world today.

telling all who listen

not to listen to the truth

no more revelation had

needing no more scriptures

the heavens are closed

while constantly writings

once hidden now to read

a chill fills the air totally

pushing truth to the light

undisputable the records

long hidden by men/women!

"The Most Important" (short essay)

The biggest problem in religion is that all of the various religions after the death of the last Apostle (and John not being seen but by a few) is the absolute loss of the literalness of the Scriptures and the additions of Greek and other philosophies by the early fathers of the 2-4^th Centuries. Yet modern professors of religion continue to teach the creeds and logismoi of men/women and not of the Savior or the Prophets/Apostles. The writings are all out there for anyone to read and understand – but kept from 99% of the public in favor of what is now accepted as the truth via constant repetitions. But everyone is allowed to believe what they choose to believe – the thousands who followed the dictators past and present do – we’ve a cult of over 63M who follow BO – the MSM presents only what they are permitted – casting stones on any and all for violations – while laying a red carpet for those in our administration who violate Federal Laws with full immunity. The schools of religion are much the same – having rewritten the history of the Scriptures and most of all the teachings of the Prophets and our Savior. The acceptance of any and all who follow them is their own choice – but mostly because they’ve not done their own homework. I’ve a large library of the best books ever written – with through research going back to about 3000BC – the written works of all the Fathers of the various churches – Augustine, Origen, Tertullian, Justin Martyr, Peter, Paul, Alexander d. 385AD, and many, many more. Clement, Solon of Athens, to add a couple more to the lists – not counting the plethora of writer since their time up to the current date.

Let’s use Origen (the Father of Eastern Christianity), “…nay, that not the slightest indication of divinity was to be had among them (the Jews). For they no longer have Prophets or wonder, of which some traces may still be found among the Christians.” For Origen the possession of Prophets and wonders is what proves a divine Church. But without either Prophets or wonders – he still went on to redefine what was to be the cement until this day of the majority of Christendom using instead Greek Philosophy and Rhetoric from Plato and others to be the foundation of his church. He did away with Jesus ever having had a body – or having a resurrected body which again is in the creeds of men/women even today. Yet anyone reading the Scriptures could never come to this conclusion – but because this is what is taught they accept the teachings of men/women rather than the Prophets or the Scriptures.

All churches should claim to be the only true church or otherwise there would be no need or argument for them to be in business – yet they fail to accept continued revelation – Prophets – visions – wonders which are needful while they love the dead prophets and cannot tolerate a living one. Which and where do each of us find ourselves? Again the writings are all to be found by a little bit of research – reading – pondering – praying (and there is answer to prayers depending on one’s faith, worthiness and a need to know) to learn for ourselves the full Gospel of Jesus Christ – and have truth rather than the logismoi of men/women. Should one decide to be comfortable where they are – then they’ll get the rewards of their comfort rather than the full blessings of Gospel of Jesus Christ. One who seeks comfort – not making waves – not asking questions – not accepting answers which do not agree with the Savior or the Prophets has their own reward here on earth and will never achieve the Celestial Kingdom with their families in all their generations.

Does your church claim to be the only true church? If not – why not? For with God our Heavenly Father – there is no confusion – contention – misunderstandings – mysteries – and he and his Only Begotten teach the same message – as do all of their ordained and called Prophets – then and now. How important is this (and why do I go back to it over and over)? It is the most important aspect of our mortality – that we know who we are – why we are here – and where we might be going! If this is not important – and the worldly is found more pressing and important then why are there the Scriptures? Why were there once Prophets and Prophets living today (by the Lord’s calling and not by men/women’s definition) and most of all what was the purpose of the Atonement – if not for our potential immortality?

What each believes is up to them – and I weep when having so much to share and so few who want to hear, know or understand. Be it remembered when I was but a child of the age of 11 years old – I gained permission to read the Bible (in those days you had to have permission within the Catholic Church) – and having read it cover to cover – went to the Priest who granted me permission with one thought. “If the Bible is true and I believe it is – then you’re in real trouble.” For five (5) years we met and discussed my questions and his – until he told me if I ever found it to tell him (when I was 15 getting ready to run away once more).

Please my friends open your eyes to what is there to know – don’t take my word for it – or those who profess to be your ministers, priests, rabbis, clerics and others who profess to be of the cloth – find out on your own. The libraries are full of books just gathering dust – the Internet is full of these same books if one searches for them – but it has to be a dedicated search. If you find contention – confusion – then put those aside because they are not of God but of the adversary. If someone ridicules you – or becomes angry – put them aside. This if the purpose of this life to know Heavenly Father and the Savior and their Prophets (living and dead) so as to return to them in the flesh and bone promised by the Savior if worthy – having entered into the everlasting covenants with them.

One could start by reading the Acts of the Apostles (even the first two chapters) where they testify of Jesus Christ being the literal son of the Father. If this is true (and I testify it is) all of the creeds of men/women are in error! Find out for yourself – then decide if the world is more important to be at peace with or with your Heavenly Father and his Only Begotten – Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

I testify that the Church has been restored in its fullness in these the latter-days and is led by Prophets and Apostles as in the Primitive Church – that Ben Joseph spoken by the Jewish teachings who had to come before the Saviors return (Ben David) has lived and was the Prophet of this last dispensation. If this is strange to you – research it – it is all there. That many of the Prophecies of the Old Testament, New Testament and other Prophets known have been are being fulfilled even as I write this to you. I testify of these things and all truth in the name of Jesus Christ – amen c/ork

after the Atonement shown

it is all there to be read

literal and without error

needing no interpretations

the most important reason

mortality is to pass the test

learning knowing intimately

the Father and his Son

otherwise our mortality a sham

harkening to the worldly

rather to the Father and Son!

"Choices to be Made" (or not) (Short essay on Law of Liberty)

“In his refutation of the Gnostics, Irenaeus in the middle of the second century set forth what he called the "Ancient Law of Liberty." Plainly, it does not originate with him. The law is illustrated, he says, by the scripture "How often would I have gathered thy children together ... and ye would not!" (Matthew 23:37.) God wants men to do right, but he does not coerce them to it. "For," says Irenaeus, "God made man free from the beginning. . . . For God never uses force. . . . He placed in man the power of election even as in the angels. . . . Glory and honor, he says, to all who do good, and it is due them because they could have done evil. . . . Now if God made some men good and some bad simply by nature, there would be nothing praiseworthy in their virtue or blameworthy in their vice, for that being their nature they could not do otherwise. But since to all is given equally the power of doing good or bad exactly as they choose, they are rightly praised or blamed for what they do. . . . That is why the prophets appeal to men to do good and eschew evil."¹ Irenaeus further explains that "God wants men to do good, but even the Gospel allows anyone who does not want to do good to do evil. To obey or disobey is in every man's power. . . . God forcing no man. . . . There is a godlike power of judgment in all men, making them envied by angels."² The ancient law of liberty is that God trusts men while on this earth to make their own choices, while they trust him alone to judge whether those choices have been good or bad.

It is mindful to consider that throughout all of recorded history that this single law has been refuted, pushed aside, ignored and abused by those minions of the adversary seeking to malign God and his eternal wisdom! Man and woman – Kings and Queens – Dictators and Demi-gods all seek to explain away this law in their decrees, writings, and demands through unrighteous dominion upon the masses of humanity. Unwittingly or maybe in collusion those who proclaim to be priests, ministers, deacons, rabbis, clerics, and any other name by which a teacher of religion professes to be without authority teach in accordance with political correctness the philosophy of the day in which they can gain the most and lose the least.

While men and women go to confession, rituals of cleansing or other means to justify the demands of men – believing that to repeats this endless cycle permits sinning or justification for not following the various commandments (of which there are many more than 10) presented by the Father, Savior and their Prophets and Apostles over the similar generations of recorded history. Introduced in the philosophies of men/women are ideas both strange and diffused to be unrecognizable by any common sense when applied.

To be very clear there is only right and wrong! As referenced by Dr. Nibley – two ways – one to choose right and the other to choose wrong. This is called the ‘two ways’ in which men and women live out their lives. Too many are found playing the role of Simon Magnus to the Apostle Peter in denouncing God as cruel to allow evil or too weak to do away with it. Neither is the case for in the eternities men/women choose for themselves to do wickedly or not.

Wickedness is not of God – but it is of men/women for they’ve the choice given and too many succumb to the enticing’s of the adversary to choose wrong – for the wrong reason – believing two wrongs makes a right. And by the worldly reasoning soon the wrongs become the accepted and thus justified by ‘others are doing the same thing’ and no harm is done and therefore it is okay or even right to do.

What is the result is that the first two commandments become violated and thus making meaningless all of the others. Blame is then put upon the Father and the Son – even the Apostles and Prophets for teaching one must stay on the straight and narrow way or be damned. How easy to disregard such teachings and revelations – and therefore most of the worldly population is in lockstep with those who choose to ignore the commandments. When one understands not the literal meaning of the Scriptures they have chosen not too. This is their right under the ‘law of liberty’ to ignore truth. They choose to be disobedient rather than obedient to Heavenly Father or his Only Begotten Son. Let there be no misunderstanding each man/woman choose of their own accord – they can blame no one else. They cannot blame those they pay to teach or those who they choose blindly to follow. They choose their friends over truth in its simplest forms because it is easier.

Peer pressure becomes the byword and nations fall and many lose their eternal progressions to the moments of only today. Blaming others is easy to do – having been learned well as children who go uncorrected for their own choices or wrongs. Our society (which we’re most concerned with) those with the most influence: media, television, games, Internet, movies and politicians – have all chosen to go for the wealth, fame, power and fulfilling the lusts of the world rather than to engage in teaching or presenting truth unsullied by their filthy hands and minds.

If it is found everyone else is doing what they want – why not then they (men/women) to do the same? Sex, drugs, drinking, profanity, immodest dress, lack of integrity, lack of honor, lack of virtue and of any sanity to do the right thing for the right reason at the right time is not in keeping with the presentation of how things really are. Evil then begins to rule the roost and since evil is present it must be Father’s fault and not those who are found as the partakers, presenters and gaining from the evil.

It in reality takes a most unique person to turn away from the worldly and be found in full obedience to the Commandments, Statutes, Laws and teachings of the Apostles and Prophets – indeed doing what is right and choosing willingly to do the right thing for the right reason all of the time (even when none else are watching). Therefore very few are found – and since so few are found most feel all alone and laughed at by those found to be around them on a daily basis.

This then is the understanding of the ‘law of liberty’ which is the law of God! The Founding Fathers of the United States full well understood this law as did and do all of the Prophets and Apostles. Alfred the Great understood it – as did many since the recorded history of Adam and Eve. One might only review the Scriptures to glean the importance of this ‘law of liberty’ as found in James.

James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Over recorded history of which has been written and is being written are going to be the judgments of God – for silently taking notes are the angels on high regardless of what we write – what they write will be the evidence submitted when we each stand in front of the judgment bar. (see Hymn 239 ‘Choose the Right’ and Hymn 237 ‘Do What is Right’ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hymn Book. One might also review the Father and the Son’s comments on the ‘least amount of sin’ and other references to the differences between what is right and wrong.

We must each understand there is no tolerance when making choices while in our mortal probation – while we’ve the choice to make on our own – excuses with be of no avail when our probation is over – either we’ve learned to obey willingly or we’ve not!

2 Nephi 33: 13 And now, my beloved brethren, all those who are of the house of Israel, and all ye ends of the earth, I speak unto you as the voice of one crying from the dust: Farewell until that great day shall come.

 14 And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell, for these words shall condemn you at the last day.

 15 For what I seal on earth, shall be brought against you at the judgment bar; for thus hath the Lord commanded me, and I must obey. Amen.

excuses unacceptable nor blame

for given the ‘law of liberty’

clearly there is right or wrong

I’ve to always to choose right

when asking within myself

what should I choose to do!
