“Without Merit (or how bad will things get in our world and how quickly)”  cji 11/30/13

 

How bad will things get in this our world? Many don’t feel anything is even wrong or that society and civilization is in any danger. They have no feelings towards values, morality, virtue, honesty, truth-telling or anything else which the Scriptures hold as uplifting and of eternal worth. When one has little or no belief in Heavenly Father or his Son and our Savior Jesus Christ – what they think or do will have little effect on their well-being or society.

 

Thus in what some can perceive as a downward spiral of our society will continue unabated until there is little left other than greed, lust, avarice, gluttony, selfishness, dishonesty and worse; which will all be considered the norm (and in many parts of the world these are already the norm). Our youth have been bombarded since the early 1960’s and even long before with immorality as a way of life. Inclusive now are drugs which demean and destroy anyone in which they come in contact with.

 

There are two most serious attacks on society – both of which have been around since the days preceding the great flood – and have continued ever since; 1) Sexual Immorality and 2) Shedding of Innocent Blood!  The Federal Government of the United States is openly advertising for immorality in their pushing of Obamacare and free contraceptives. The entertainment world has had immorality at the center stage from the beginning of being allowed to perform. Music, literature and art have always sought to present (with public acceptance) immorality.

 

As for shedding of innocent blood – this occurs daily in greater and greater numbers – within homes, schools, neighborhoods and other venues which expose the innocent to the cruelties of the present day world. Rape, date-rape, sexual abuse all steal innocence from infants to adults. Shootings, knifings, baseball batting people are all forms to take lives of others many times unknown to the murderers. We’ve a nation which arms terrorists and criminals while disarming the honest citizen and/or arrest them when they defend themselves. Police are now killing more citizens for the least excusable reasons and being justified by the courts in doing so.

 

Further the family has been under attack since the days of Cain and Able – for to destroy the family is to destroy the Plan of Salvation which was voted on by each of us in the Pre-existence. This Plan which was to have families intact return to the presence of the Father and the Son after passing our mortal probation. The needs to meet this Plan require the Church of Jesus Christ to be upon the earth – with all the authority, keys, Priesthood, Temples and the ordinances and covenants of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While the majority of the population of our present world will never have the opportunity to hear this Gospel (they all will in the millennium) many who do hear or know of it – reject this plain and simple truth of the Restoration in these latter-days. Most are all good people – many are very good people – but still and all for the world at this time very few respond when they’re called.

 

Most have the belief they’re Saved – which this includes everyone who’s ever come to this earth and received a mortal body – for the Atonement was for ‘all’ (none excluded who lived at some point in mortality). Being ‘Saved’ is only the beginning and not the end – there is much more for each individual to do for eternal life with a physical body of flesh and bone. Most are never taught this – as the Creeds of men/women omit that this is even a remote possibility. In addition, they’re taught there’s either a Heaven or a Hell – one or the other with nothing in-between. Thus in failing to read the Scriptures literally – cover to cover – Old and New Testament – they fail to apply common-sense to what is taught within their pages which tell a much different story. Paul speaks of three different Kingdoms – John does also – as do many of the Prophets – and the Savior taught of mansions being prepared for those who follow him and keep all of the commandments – being sealed here on earth – therefore to be sealed in Heaven. While those not sealed in this lifetime having been able to learn of His Gospel – will not be sealed in Heaven. (Note: this does not apply to those who’ve never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ taught while in mortality.)

 

Thus the worldly have taken the shedding of innocent blood to a different level in that teaching doctrine different from the Scriptures – with their rhetoric/guile and convincing most all that there is nothing more than what they teach. i.e. 5% Scripture and 95% Greek Philosophy or the Philosophy of men/women.  Thus in our world today the wicked prevail for if there is nothing more than what is being taught by all (but one church) then there is not much reason to seek the further knowledge and light promised within the Scriptures.

 

One need only to reflect on what loves men and women have today: sports; toys; pleasure; drugs; possessions; money; power and other worldly things – while having no need for other than a sprinkling of religion and then only on a not-to-interfere with their worldly loves. The most common excuse is that everyone is doing what they’re doing – listening to the music – going to the movies – playing games – cheating a little – lying a little – stealing a little – sinning a little and keeping only those commandments which are convenient.

 

Therefore things will continue to get more wicked/worse - as it will appear to those who’re the more righteous (study and ponder the Scriptures literally) - but all will be in Father's time - everyone will have to choose a side - there will be no excuses - and many who think they're on one side might find out they're not - the saying, "What you do is more important than what you say you do!" - everyone pause to ponder which side they’re on. Much can be done for some – but not much can be done for the majority – for when one is beyond feeling it is difficult to teach truth. 

 

Frustration overcomes me when writing such as that above – knowing that it’ll be pushed aside – being without merit – and therefore of little worth. c/ork

The Governor of Illinois made the citizens of Nauvoo surrender all of their arms to the militia - and then within two years forced them to abandon their homes in the middle of the winter across the Mississippi - carving out holes to survive the cold. Several years earlier the Governor of Missouri order the 'extinction' of those living in Far West (and other settlements) after making them surrender their arms. These events took place in 1830's and 1840's. The Government of the US did nothing to interfere and the MSM media of the time applauded the Governments of the two states and the incidental murdering and raping of the women and their children (some infant babies) - as did the clergy of the day. We must remember history does repeat itself - over and over!

“What is Going On in Our Nation (if you live in the US)” cji 11/5/13

Just so everyone understands what is going on in our nation – whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican – legal or illegal – entitled or working – purple, green, black, white, red, orange, yellow – it doesn’t matter if you live in the United States – and receive health care – or depend on an income (whatever the source) – all of the rhetoric aside – spin – truth or fiction. The history found in 3^rd Nephi is occurring in the US Government and Courts to allow the wicked/confused/wolves/predators/vultures/parasites to violate completely the Constitution – and as found in Isaiah – to “call evil good and good evil!”

There will be no exceptions to those who have had a body in mortality. However, if you’re one of those who believe this is all there is – that some freak accident of incredible odds formed man and woman – from a single cell substance – and that there is no God or Creator – then you will already have whatever it is you expect to have when you die. Even those who accept the teachings of much of the worldly religions that all will either go to heaven or hell – and that all will be spirits only – without physical bodies – and that all will be ministering angels and nothing more. Thus those who accept these teachings will also have their rewards as they expect no more and seek no more.  

Also, we must understand that the Savior said he had overcome the world – and that we were to be fully obedient to the Commandments – to be good – righteous – honest – virtuous – pure – truthful – moral – meek and humble – to live the law of charity and consecration – to be in the service of the Lord – to care for the naked, orphan, widow and homeless – to feed the hungry – to be found doing the Will of our Father in Heaven all of the time!

Why did the Savior overcome the world if it only means that there is nothing more than what is found above? This is the question most do not want answered – they’d prefer not to know. Thus those who currently control our government – our media – various religions of the world – exercise a power which is not theirs to exercise because people don’t want to know anything more than they already have. People have stopped asking questions (Socrates’ bows his head in shame as such people). Why in the world would anyone stop asking questions and seeking truthful common sense answers? One should never stop asking questions – for – ‘for every answer one receives that many more should they be asking’ (cji April 16, 1968). If someone gets an answer that doesn’t make sense, i.e. be in tune with the literal Scriptures, then they will know that the answer is not correct. The Savior overcame the world so that we might someday each return to Him and his Father with our Eternal Families – to have physical bodies of flesh and bone (as He and the Father have) – to inherit the mansions He has prepared for us and our families. There is nothing complex in this doctrine – it is simple, clear, concise and in full understanding for one who reads the Scriptures, prayers and listens to the promptings of the Spirit.

In doing this especially where there is freedom found – then will the Constitution withstand the assaults upon it – however, we’re to understand that things will continue to get much worse. Why? Because all men, woman over the age of eight who can think, reason and make choices will be tried in their mortal probation. None – not one – will be left with an excuse for their actions (or choices) when standing before the Bar of Justice after this mortal experience.

As a nation we must return to the Covenants we made in the pre-existence – we must hold fast to the Rod of Iron (which is the literal Word of God) and we must endure to the end.  Being good is not enough – we must be fully obedient! Being found believing some of the Bible and not all literally is not good enough!

Sadly, most of those living in the United States and other nations in the world – have no understanding of the literal teachings of the Scriptures – most will never go beyond what is taught to them by those employed to teach (or preach) to them – many are unable to break the traditions of their upbringings. (Note: this does not include those who have never heard of Jesus Christ or of Heavenly Father – or are totally denied this information by their governments. These will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness during the Millennial time following the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.)

The Scriptures are full of the accounts of the wickedness of the world and how those found in such array against the Lord will be held accountable fully for their actions. Everyone who has access to the Scriptures will be accountable – thus surely then the Scriptures hold the truths which the wicked call mysteries.

The following are but two Scriptures which allude to the Church established by the Son and to those who are either righteous or unrighteous (one can also read Isaiah and many other of the Prophets):

Mosiah 27:13 … For the Lord hath said: This is my church, and I will establish it; and nothing shall overthrow it, save it is the transgression of my people.

Mosiah 27:31 Yea, every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess before him. Yea, even at the last day, when all men shall stand to be judged of him, then shall they confess that he is God; then shall they confess, who live without God in the world, that the judgment of an everlasting punishment is just upon them; and they shall quake, and tremble, and shrink beneath the glance of his all-searching eye.

Still there will be many who hear, read, see and yet accept only the Greek Philosophy, Rhetoric of the World, and engage only here and there the truths found in the Scriptures will be fully accountable for their choices and actions. Therefore the world will continue to become more wicked and vicious against those who strive to be found in full obedience. The tools are to bend the teachings – call things mysteries (remember the only mysteries are what they unrighteous call them – for in the Scriptures we’re told that there are no mysteries to those who are righteous). Confusion, procrastination, temptations, laughter, ridicule, abuse, shame, and so many more are found in the tools of the adversary to keep all who will listen to the world from the truthfulness of the Scriptures.

Thus we must completely understand what is going on for ourselves – and not be dependent upon others to tell us what is truth and what is fiction – and thus to be found working within Father’s gardens, vineyards and fields. The world is a very wicked place – I don’t have to tell you this – you already know this! However we’re admonished not to partake in the world – but to be found doing what is right at all times and all places – being in complete obedience to the Commandments, Laws and Statutes of the Lord – and to love and care for our families, neighbors and others in need. We have nothing to fear of the world – oh we’ll endure many persecutions, abuses – however did not the Savior endure much more than we? We’ve but to love the Lord our God – and if we love God – we’ll keep all of his Commandments. Simple stuff – but we must still understand what is going on around us – and those seeking to destroy one’s ability to make choices – which of course was the plan of the adversary in the war which started in the pre-existence and continues today and will until the Second Coming. (Note: we should be mindful the Savior told the Apostles that His Church would be restored (which He and His Father would accomplish at some future time) but prior to the Second Coming. The world rejects – all major religions reject this – yet it has occurred and we are in the last days.

only a very few awake

which are we found

do we ask questions

do we seek full truth

do we read Scriptures

(not just read but ponder)

do we call upon Father

sincere in our prayers

professing full love

and thus obedience

in all we think or do

forgotten will be much

nothing beyond the veil

but our families in toto’

can we understand

are we fully awake

or do we stay asleep!

Why Obamacare is a Fantastic Success.

There are 2 major political parties in America. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cowardly one. I’m a Republican. How stupid is the GOP? They still don’t get it. I told them 5 years ago, 2 books ago, a national bestseller ago (“The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide”), and in hundreds of articles and commentaries, that Obamacare was never meant to help America, or heal the sick, or lower healthcare costs, or lower the debt, or expand the economy.

 

The GOP needs to stop calling Obamacare a “trainwreck.” That means it’s a mistake, or accident. That means it’s a gigantic flop, or failure. It’s NOT. This is a brilliant, cynical, and purposeful attempt to damage the U.S. economy, kill jobs, and bring down capitalism. It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success. It’s not a “trainwreck,” Obamacare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.

 

Obama’s hero and mentor was Saul Alinsky - a radical Marxist intent on destroying capitalism. Alinksky’s stated advice was to call the other guy “a terrorist” to hide your own intensions. To scream that the other guy is “ruining America,” while you are the one actually plotting the destruction of America. To claim again and again…in every sentence of every speech…that you are “saving the middle class,” while you are busy wiping out the middle class.

 

The GOP is so stupid they can’t see it. There are no mistakes here. This is a planned, purposeful attack. The tell-tale sign isn’t the disastrous start to Obamacare. Or the devastating effect the new taxes are having on the economy. Or the death of full-time jobs. Or the overwhelming debt. Or the dramatic increases in health insurance rates. Or the 70% of doctors now thinking of retiring- bringing on a healthcare crisis of unimaginable proportions. Forget all that. 

 

The real sign that this is a purposeful attack upon capitalism is how many Obama administration members and Democratic Congressmen are openly calling Tea Party Republicans and anyone who wants to stop Obamacare “terrorists.” There’s the clue. Even the clueless GOP should be able to see that. They are calling the reasonable people…the patriots…the people who believe in the Constitution…the people who believe exactly what the Founding Fathers believed…the people who want to take power away from corrupt politicians who have put America $17 trillion in debt…terrorists? 

 

That’s because they are Saul Alinsky-ing the GOP. The people trying to purposely hurt America, capitalism and the middle class…are calling the patriots by a terrible name to fool, confuse and distract the public.

 

Obamacare is a raving, rollicking, fantastic success. Stop calling it a failure. Here is what it was created to do. It is succeeding on all counts.

 

#1) Obamacare was intended to bring about the Marxist dream - redistribution of wealth. Rich people, small business owners, and the middle class are being robbed, so that the money can be redistributed to poor people (who vote Democrat). Think about it. If you’re rich or middle class, you now have to pay for your own healthcare costs (at much higher rates) AND 40 million other people’s costs too (through massive tax increases). So you’re stuck paying for both bills. You are left broke. Brilliant.

 

#2) Obamacare was intended to wipe out the middle class and make them dependent on government. Think about it. Even Obama’s IRS predicts that health insurance for a typical American family by 2016 will be $20,000 per year. But how would middle class Americans pay that bill and have anything left for food or housing or living? People that make $40K, or $50K, or $60K can’t possibly hope to spend $20K on health insurance without becoming homeless. Bingo. That’s how you make middle class people dependent on government. That’s how you make everyone addicted to government checks. Brilliant.

 

#3) As a bonus, Obamacare is intended to kill every decent paying job in the economy, creating only crummy, crappy part-time jobs. Why? Just to make sure the middle class is trapped, with no way out. Just to make sure no one has the $20,000 per year to pay for health insurance, thereby guaranteeing they become wards of the state. Brilliant.

 

#4) Obamacare is intended to bankrupt small business, and therefore starve donations to the GOP. Think about it. Do you know a small business owner? I know hundreds of them. Their rates are being doubled, tripled and quadrupled by Obamacare. Guess who writes 75% of the checks to Republican candidates and conservative causes? Small business. Even if a small business owner manages to survive, he or she certainly can’t write a big check to the GOP anymore. Money is the “mother’s milk” of politics. Without donations, a political party ceases to exist. Bingo. That’s the point of Obamacare. Obama is bankrupting his political opposition and drying up donations to the GOP. Brilliant.

 

#5) Obamacare is intended to make the IRS all-powerful. It adds thousands of new IRS agents. It puts the IRS in charge of overseeing 15% of the U.S. economy. The IRS has the right because of Obamacare to snoop into every aspect of your life, to go into your bank accounts, to fine you, to frighten you, to intimidate you. And Obama and his socialist cabal have access to your deepest medical secrets. By law your doctor has to ask your sexual history. That information is now in the hands of Obama and the IRS to blackmail GOP candidates into either not running, or supporting bigger government, or leaking the info and ruining your campaign. Or have you forgotten the IRS harassed, intimidated and persecuted critics of Obama and conservative groups? Now Obama hands the IRS even more power. Big Brother rules our lives. Brilliant.

 

#6) Obamacare is intended to unionize 15 million healthcare workers. That produces $15 billion in new union dues. That money goes to fund Democratic candidates and socialist causes- thereby guaranteeing Obama’s friends never lose another election, and Obama’s policies keep ruining capitalism and bankrupting business owners long after he’s out of office.

 

Message to the GOP: This isn’t a game. This isn’t tiddly-winks. This is a serious, purposeful attempt to highjack America and destroy capitalism. This isn’t a trainwreck. It’s purposeful suicide. It’s not failing, it’s working exactly according to plan. Obama knows what he’s doing. Stop apologizing and start fighting.

 

Oh and one more thing…Conservatives aren’t “terrorists.” We are patriots and saviors. We represent the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. We are the heroes and good guys. Unless you get all this through your thick skulls, America is lost…forever.

The following was written at the request of a friend of mine who saw this advertisement and asked, “What is the difference between the Geneva Bible and the KJV?”

 

Here’s the quote from where the question is generated (calling it the Bible which built America – which is false if they’d done their homework):
“The Geneva Bible is unique among all other Bibles. It was the first Bible to use chapters and numbered verses and became the most popular version of its time because of the extensive study notes. These notes were included to explain and interpret the Scriptures for the common people and laid the foundation for a Republican form of government. For nearly half a century these notes helped the people of England, Scotland, and Ireland understand the Bible and true God-ordained liberty.

When the Pilgrims arrived in America in 1620, they brought the 1599 Geneva Bible. You can see why this remarkable version with its profound study notes played a key role in the formation of the American Republic. Today, the 1599 Geneva Bible has been all but forgotten. Thankfully, we've brought it back into print in a beautiful, easy-to-read format with updated English spelling and punctuation. This remarkable Bible is available in leather or hardback binding.”

 

(Note: The actual basis of the Constitution is as follows: Polybius (205?-123BC); Baron Charles De Montesquieu (1689-1755); John Locke (1632-1704); William Blackstone (1723-1780); The Anglo-Saxons (King Alfred the Great); The Gospels “The fundamentals of Christianity were to be found in the preaching of our Saviour, which is related in the gospels,” Thomas Jefferson in Padover’s book, “The Complete Jefferson” p. 938.; The Acts of the Apostles; The Old Testament (especially Moses) and in-depth look at most of the reformers from 1500-1750. It is estimated that 34% of the Constitution is from God’s Natural Law or the Scriptures. The most common book of Scripture available to all of the Founding Fathers was the 1769 edition of the KJV. This is from multiple sources easy for most to find on their own.)

In coming to grips with the question of my friend I have to address the questioned asked and why they would’ve asked such a question. When someone asks the rhetorical question of ‘what if a president of the US was to outlaw your Bible,’ then one would have to see what they’re selling or why they’d make such a question public?  In this case their pushing ‘out of context’ early 17^th Century England views which no longer exist as a reason for this to occur. The purpose of their ad is to get people to purchase their version of the Geneva Bible which the King of England outlawed – without giving any history or factual documentation of the reasons this was done.

 

Sadly much of the Geneva Bible was taken from the Tyndale edition (16^th Century) which makes up 80%+ of the KJV (and the Geneva Bible) – but with what Joseph Smith added in his translation of the Bible – and the footnotes from Elder Bruce R. McConkie (and other study guides) there shouldn’t be too much missing (outside the notes). (Note: I reference this because the one asking the question was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who accept Joseph Smith, Jr. as a Prophet of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – as were the Prophets of old.)  One must remember King James counted on others to do his reading for him most of the time. The Church uses the KJV (from about the 1769 edition) and then with the work of Joseph Smith.

 

The push is always to make the sale – yes King James authorized the publication of the KJV – however until the early to mid-1800’s every ruler of any nation which had absolute power had to authorize anything printed in their realm. I’ve a number of books over 200 years from England and they’ve all got this authority in them if they’re non-fiction (I’ve almost no fiction so not sure of them).

 

Most likely many will spend the $30.00 and it will sit on their shelves unread as a show piece. Almost every pseudo Christian religion has their current addition to the Bible (with their correct wording to support their creeds) and again with the exception of various Bible study groups led by an authorized agent of their sects – about 95% is not taught and Greek Philosophy or Rhetoric is used instead.

 

If this were the most correct version – I’m sure the Church has had access to it for at least 180+ years – and one must remember Joseph Smith could read the various languages of Greek, Hebrew and Latin. In reality – we know that King Alford had access to the various available Scriptures (called the Bible by historians although this term didn’t come into use in referring to the current idea until the 15^th Century (of which I’ve some pages). In reality the word Bible comes from Byblos (writing on papyrus and also collection of small books – bibliographies) from after 3,000 BC (having originated from the Phoenician town of Byblos) where the first writing on papyrus occurred.

 

In order to disprove the Bible (especially Adam and Eve) historians are saying Byblos has been continuously inhabited since 8000BC. In fact we know of several ancient sites which were inhabited as early as 15-14,000BC – but which became extinct. This summary by historians also disregards the various natural events which occurred from the 20,000BC to 5,000BC. In addition, with the sophisticated DNA studies – the current DNA family only goes back between 6,500 to 7,000 years. (Note: one must remember DNA always is matriarchal and as Darwin said in his writings he was never able to go back to one mammal, fish, bird or anything living which swam, walked, flew where there were not two – male and female. Indeed with the exception of cells of the smallest kind – where two cells enjoin and continue to split nothing has been found.) Some of course will argue the case of the amoeba - Dientamoeba fragili was first described in 1918, and was linked to harm in humans.

 

Much like any edition of the Bible (of which there are over 50,000) it is only as good as one reads and studies understanding literally what it reports. Since for over 6,000 years most of the world’s population have rejected the literal teachings of the Father, the Son and the Prophets – it is unlikely this will occur today with any edition of the Bible. We must remember much of the world’s population is illiterate and much of the remainder can barely read or write beyond the level of a 5^th grader. Thus the professional clergy and teachers in the schools and universities do it for them pushing their own ideological beliefs and/or creeds of current political correctness. Currently one would guess the largest denomination with active participants would be (in no particular order): sports; movies; video games; music; violence; drinking; television; soap operas; hedonistic practices; or other worldly pursuits. Going to church is a politically correct thing to do and many on their day of worship do this – some several times a week.

 

We must remember when one pays another to teach them religion or to teach their religion – those who pay the most get the party line taught. (Note: if someone questions what is being taught – and confounds the paid teacher – most likely they’ll be put down rather than answered. When this occurred between 200AD and even into the early 1900’s (in America) – and still continues in many nations of the world – death, expulsion or imprisonment is the solution. To even own a Bible in some of the Middle Eastern nations is punishable by stoning.) In most nations in the world one cannot teach another anything but the state religion – which in much of Russia and China is Atheism (there are some exceptions but very few).

 

Now to address the original question of the advertisement – What if the Government of the US were to outlaw your Bible? (Note: the ad specifies one president but it could be any.) The ad then goes on to discuss the banning of the Geneva Bible (which came after the Tyndale Bible) replacing it first with the Great Bible and then the Bishop’s Bible – and finally the replacement by the KJV in the 17^th Century. What is doesn’t mention is that one of the most learned men of the 16^th  Century did the majority (80%+) of the text found in the KJV – of which the Geneva Bible owes again the same 80% to him. The Geneva Bible was prominent for over 51 years – prior to the Great Bible (or Cromwell Bible) under King Henry the VIII. The Geneva Bible was the first printed in 1576 as a complete Bible. What was offensive to the King was the footnotes emphasized the teachings were Calvinistic and Puritan which was offensive to the supremacy of the King. (Note: one should clearly understand these two teachings; Calvinistic and Puritan and their variances with the literal teachings of the Bible.)

 

Further as stated in earlier writings what we’ve of the Scriptures of the Old Testament in the present Bible come from the writings and translations of Ezra after the Babylonian captivity. However, due to the branch of Joseph leaving Israel prior to this captivity which led to the translation and printing of the Book of Mormon which has 1000 years of history including excerpts from Isaiah and an account of those who left at the time of the Tower of Babel. Within this Book of Mormon are found an account of the people, their Prophets, the Saviors visit to them and of their destruction due to unrighteousness. In addition, when the Savior taught he constantly referenced the Scriptures and indeed told his Apostles that he had other sheep to feed, John 10:16 “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” (Note: would recommend that one read this whole chapter. And also read 3^rd Nephi Chapter 16. Later when one of the Apostles asked in prayers who were the other sheep he received in answer as to the ‘other sheep’ being of the other tribes of Israel who had been removed from Israel.)

 

Let’s clearly understand that Christian Scholars and other religious scholars around the world feel they’re the only ones who can interpret their doctrines correctly. i.e. one who is not a true Muslim cannot read or understand the Qur’an – and especially if it has been translated to any language aside from Arabic.) One has to be read otherwise they are at the mercy of those of the Madison avenue linage which has only one goal to keep you paying for what they are offering – no matter if it is the same old product in different packaging. Thus the flavor of the usage of rhetoric (which our president referenced he uses) is now supposed to be the truth and not just what the people want to hear. Rhetoric is the art of discourse, an art that aims to improve the capability of writers or speakers that attempt to inform, persuade, or motivate particular audiences in specific situations. Socrates’ called rhetoric dressed up lying, or giving the audience whatever they wanted and were willing to pay to receive.

 

Thus why the grand concern over whether someone will outlaw the Bible? First and foremost most who have them don’t read them; secondly, those who have them and do read them do so under the view of their professional clergy; and third, two of the major religions of the world; Catholics and Judaism only accept certain books of the Bible and none else. Other concerns may arise but each of the churches of the reformation pick and choose which doctrines they accept while rejecting all others. Almost all churches have completely in part or whole rejected the Ten Commandments (with the exception of not to murder).  Therefore, why would anyone ban the Bible? And thus for one to say the Geneva Bible is any better than any of the others when it in fact uses the Tyndale Bible (as do all of the others) as its firm foundation? 

 

Maybe a little bit wordy – but this like many things in the world today are just diversions from the truth – which is the Bible is to be taken literally – Tyndale wrote it in such a way in his translation that anyone – even a plowboy (in England or Europe of the time) could understand it were it to be read aloud or if they could read (which most could not). This diversion is no different than the ‘spin’ in political correctness – or when one is being seduced by another for selfish reasons.

 

It is good that people believe and try to do well in what they think or otherwise set as their example. However, there are as many good persons in the world that have no understanding of the Father and or the Son. Thus we’re to be tolerant and understand our leaders could care less if one has or does not have a Bible. The Geneva Bible only has additional notes which push the teachings of Calvinistic and Puritanistic. If this will get one to read the Bible – then let them do it – but one could just as easily read the one they already have.

 

Let me reaffirm that when one has something to sell which they esteem of great worth – yet introduce contention as their primary sales pitch this is not of God – and is only of the world. So much of the world’s religions rely on contention – confusion and a lack of common sense for the general good of all. The Savior repeated his Atonement were for all of his Father’s children, not just those in his immediate presence. Indeed the Savior also said all of his Father’s creations. What part of all is not understood – yet the doctrines and creeds of men and women – eliminate many the same as they eliminate ‘agency’, works, and a physical resurrection of the both flesh and bones – with the ability to eat, touch, engage in conversation and finally that the Savior came to do the will of his Father.

 

It is not which Bible you read – but how you take the literal teachings of the Scriptures and apply them in your individual life. Simple stuff – yet so many are fooled by the cries of ‘lo here or lo there’ – and the contention which occurs when they turn to one or the other. As far as having to prove the truth of something – it is not burden of the one who reports truth – but the burden of those who refuse to believe it is true. The Savior is truth, the word and the light of this world – why would he then confuse the Scriptures or make them un-understandable to his sheep? Thus, King Alfred and William Tyndale felt the same – he wouldn’t!

 

Last but not of a lesser priority – is the current rush within political correctness to slam various religious beliefs in our nation with one exception of organized denominations. Every belief system except Islam is included by the word racist or discriminatory. The laws found in the Healthcare Act – exclude those who practice Islam! Yet, anyone else (of course with the exception of the Congress/Executive/Judicial) have to abide by all of it or be fined excessively for not doing so. Thus in this act which in reality is a tax – every business in the US have to have coverage for abortions, birth control, to be religious neuter in their products (so as not to offend anyone) and to be open to the general public without regard to the Sabbath Day. This of course violates several sections of the Constitution but the Supreme Court seems oblivious to any of this. In deed it would appear they sanction such disregard for personal religious beliefs with the exception of those who practice Islam. Surely this nation is being led by exactly the opposite of those defined by the Founding Father’s who should lead this nation.

 

The worldly – have taken over the freedoms of the United States by voter fraud – deception of the Congress and the Courts and the absolute disregard for the Constitution since the beginning of the 20^th Century and taken it to new lows in the 21^st Century! Fraud in voting – intimidation in voting – fixed voting machines – and forcing states to abandon any identification checks before someone can vote. All in the rhetoric of the politicians and their largest minion the media in all of its disgusting forms!

 

Even today with the government shutdown the media continues to print the rhetoric in direct opposition and belief of the American people – thus beguiling and seducing our nation into 3^rd world status and slavery of the worse kind.

 

Eventually no one will have to outlaw the Scriptures as the current religion of hedonism and Islam continue to grow – because under their laws and jurisdictions those who believe in the Bible will be either dead or incarcerated. When religious freedom dies – the nation dies – when the nation dies all that will be left are the parasites and vultures with nothing to uplift and everything to destroy until they destroy each other.

 

Yet there is hope – we all know from the Scriptures that several things have to happen in the last days. First, Satan will run amoke – i.e. no one will have any excuse before the judgment bar in defending their rights to not obey the Ten Commandments (with the exception of those who’ve not heard the law – which is the greater % of the world’s population); second, the Savior has taught he has overcome the world – if we follow him in obedience, faith and works, and endure to the end – so will we; third, things will get much worse before they get better; forth, maybe the most important is that the Church of Jesus Christ will be Restored to this earth before the Second Coming – and this occurred in the Spring of 1820 when the Father and the Son appeared to a 14 year boy in the woods of Western NY in answer to his prayer, “which church should I join?” However, most deny this ever happened – which shows either a lack of understanding or a refusal to investigate to see if it did. If it did – then you need to know – if it didn’t then you must still be waiting. As I’ve always stated if one leaves this up to others for their knowledge – then those who do this will be accountable for not exercising their agency to know for themselves.

 

But as I’ve said before, “If what another believes is true and is different from what I believe – then what I believe doesn’t matter – for I believe all that you do (only more). However, if what I believe is true – where does this leave others who don’t believe what I do?”

 

Consider carefully – as I do each day – how are we helping our family, our neighbors, our community, our state and our nation? How are we living the Gospel of Jesus Christ as summarized in James 1:27? There are a lot of very good people in the world – and because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ all will be saved to one of the three Kingdoms as spoken by Paul and others. However, like all things the greater the Kingdom the greater the blessings – and greater are the rules to attain each. All of this is laid out in all of the Holy Scriptures (no matter how much they’ve been edited) – but one can only learn these by their own study.

 

Will the president outlaw the Bible? Why? Most have already sub-let it to others to explain it to them – and therefore have abdicated the responsibility which attends the need to read and/or understand. The question which initiated this writing was pure Madison avenue rhetoric of the most beguiling kind.
