"Repeal the 17th Amendment"

Hi All – Direct election of Senators is what put us in this mess America (run by elitist’s)  – i.e. big money paying for the Senate! It was one of the biggest steps in an Oligarchy and therefore Socialism. Being appointed by the states made them accountable to their electorate. i.e. the Governors and elected representatives of the state which equalizes the urban areas. So actually they would be one step closer to direct participation which the Founding Father’s knew. I’ve studied this long and hard – since the passing of the 17^th Amendment we’ve become subservient to the wealthy and the large urban areas – again popular vote gives us people like McClain and the idiots from Chicago/New York while those like the Clinton couldn’t change states – this was the beginning of the end.

The 17^th Amendment was pushed by the wealthy as a way to control the one arm of Congress they had no control over. Thus they could control the House and the White House which they’d well documented in previous elections. Thus the Senate was their key to an Oligarchy – then to a one world government run by the wealthy. These plans were established in the Golden Isles in the 1880’s. They found they could easily control the WH – and with Wilson they’d solidified that aspect. The House was easier with the urban syndrome – with delegates based on population density. The party caucus controlled everyone who ran especially in the larger urban areas – even to the gerrymandering of the districts. The Courts they felt they could manipulate once the Senate (as we can see today) was controlled by them. Effectively with the direct election of Senators they had effective control over the government – WH – Congress – Senate and the Courts in an indirect way.

In the 1913 election by playing TR off of Taft they got their economist from Princeton elected President. 1914 saw the passage of 17^th Amendment. By 1921 we’d gone to the FED – from there it’s been all downhill. The Judges were more difficult but with the Senate confirming them one might notice how really good at eliminating the better ones with fake news and hearings where they destroy credibility and then get those we now have on the Court – who have now been loaded with liberals even John Roberts. All have been bought and sold – and BHO made sure embarrassing them in the public theater where he shamed them.

Only Reagan (to a degree) and now Trump are seeking to change the Court back to Constitutional Judges based on skills and not ownership.

The repeal of the 17^th Amendment will in part begin giving power back to the people and back to the Constitution and back to the Founding Fathers.  c/ork

"Who Are We Really"

“Who Are We Really” (us veterans I mean) cji 7/23/17

Maybe you'd like to know about us Veteran's going and having gone to college and still surviving - let's go back to the 1960's - where if you were a veteran you got no scholarships - no grades in some classes (meaning a C or below - some would just fail a veteran for taking their course) - you stole food to eat (GI Bill was $90.00 /if Married $110.00) - I was asked to give my money from the GI bill back as the VA said there was no way I could afford to be in College (had to show my transcript - honor roll - worked day job/night job - 16 hours at night school - wrote for the college rag - President of one of the 1st Vietnam Vets Clubs in America - my wife and I took a 4PM class to be able to see each other. Teachers were somewhat left leaning - unlike today's totally left -which made it very difficult to achieve. My wife almost died from a mis-carriage - when I approached the scholarship board as to why I was never picked - this is what they said, "You are white, married and a veteran - you'll graduate whether we give you a scholarship or not!" I told them they were responsible for my wife almost dying and our now dead child!

And yes others who did go to school - because in our day they could avoid the draft - went into education - because they could avoid the draft - married because they could avoid the draft - and had children because they could avoid the draft - and then got divorces as soon as they were able when there was no more draft! They are the leaders of the left liberals today – and are set on ruining our nation! Receiving scholarships – grades they didn’t earn or deserve – and other benefits of pelf. Yes there were many who did what they did honorably – sadly unlike today where many are totally selfish – we had many then as well.

Most are willing to play the game and walk away without any debt - and a degree while we were in places unknown trying to survive. Today many are not much different judging from the Ft. Myers-Virginia Beach-Daytona Beach and other holiday exercises (all in the name of good fun) these past years – the indulgent orgies around the Easter Holidays famously called Spring Break. It keeps getting worse and worse – but the money is good and so many look the other way – fools being fools!

There are very many excellent young people in this nation raised by good parents who've never served in the military - however, the majority of the fools who pass themselves off as being adults; i.e. the subject of this article - ruin it for the rest of them. They major in nonsense courses – tattoo their frames – pierce their ears, noses, tongues, and various other body parts and wonder why can’t get a job unless working for Soros or other liberals rioting and disparaging our nation and our freedoms.

When I was in college we had 300+ veterans going to a small Jr. College in Upstate NY - we were never hassled as there were too many of us and we watched each other’s six! At the 4 year school - we were there during the Kent State fiasco - and it was the veterans who maintained the equilibrium at our school (I was also the Veterans Club President).  

The students at the four year school were foolish punks - two stories (both very true) - with Kent State some classes ended and others didn't based on student votes. In one 3/4ths of the class failed because they voted to end the class - the professor threw out the curve - two of us got B's - 3 C's - a bunch of D's and the rest F! In another class I was on the Quad explaining to our Professor that we paid her salary and she would be in class to complete the semester - while doing so my wife went ahead to the class building were some really dumb people pretending to be students taunted her and had her crying and would not let her up the stairs. I came along - told her it was okay go ahead to class. Then I tore into those imitations of human beings better known as parasites - would guess some might still remember the fear they faced that day when I was done with them - I never even raised my voice!

Punks are a dime a dozen - and just because they live in mobs doesn't mean they are worth anything of value except to fertilize the soil when the die. Hopefully if you’re really smart - you are not one of them - and if you are one of the punks you better make some course corrections. Soon all of what we’re watching is going to come to a head – Soro’s mobs and others who’re found to be illegal, entitled, will be on one side. Citizens of this great American Nation will be on the other-side led and backed by us old veterans – still having another’s six – carrying the American Flag.

Most of us veterans have a real thin skin on some issues - it is best to keep quiet rather than to rattle one's chain in anticipation of some fun. A couple of years ago (being old and disabled) my wife (same one - 47 years later) went to St. Augustine - when we went to park a very big black fellow hopped in the back seat of our car. My wife had been counseled to let me handle situations like this - to lean forward and say nothing. He said his wife and child were hot and hungry and could we give him a ride to where they were - I agreed. As we pulled into traffic (when at the curb he's the advantage - when the car is in traffic we do) - he said, "Most would be pretty upset if a big black guy climbed into their back seat!" Would guess he was implying a threat - so I said to him, "I spent 14 months in the Far East - and was in Harlem in 1964 with Dr. Martin Luther King (we were friends due to an essay I'd written when I was 17 entitled, "Man's Right to be a Human Being").  I finished with saying,  "give it your best shot!" He asked if he could get out - and we let him - but asked if he really did need money for food - he said he did - we gave him half of what we had - $6.00 - never carry cash when traveling!. 

None of the above is brag – just simple truth dedicated to all those who’ve served our nation positively will to sacrifice all – for those either unable or unwilling to defend their liberties and freedoms. Thank you Sisters and Brothers – for some of us soon our watch will be over – but we serve and endure to the end.

"Gifts of the Spirit"

Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve taught that gifts of the Spirit “can lead us to God. They can shield us from the power of the adversary. They can compensate for our inadequacies and repair our imperfections” (“Spiritual Gifts,” Ensign, Sept. 1986, 72).

Elder Bruce R. McConkie taught: “Spiritual gifts are endless in number and infinite in variety. Those listed in the revealed word are simply illustrations” (A New Witness for the Articles of Faith, 371).

Elder Marvin J. Ashton of the Quorum of the Twelve said some “less-conspicuous gifts” include “the gift of asking; the gift of listening; the gift of hearing and using a still, small voice; … the gift of avoiding contention; the gift of being agreeable; … the gift of seeking that which is righteous; the gift of not passing judgment; the gift of looking to God for guidance; the gift of being a disciple; the gift of caring for others; the gift of being able to ponder; the gift of offering prayer; the gift of bearing a mighty testimony; and the gift of receiving the Holy Ghost” (in Conference Report, Oct. 1987, 23; or Ensign, Nov. 1987, 20).

Satan can try to deceive people with counterfeit spiritual gifts. Concerned about some false manifestations of these gifts among Church members, the Prophet Joseph Smith inquired of the Lord and received a revelation instructing him as to this. “Emphasize that if a gift is of God, it will be edifying and cause us to rejoice. It will lead us to do good, to love and serve God, and to believe in Christ. If a spiritual manifestation does not edify, or if it leads us to sin, it is not of God.”

This was written several years ago and is now updated as not much has changed.

If one goes to Wikipedia – one can get an idea of what this means – but let’s go back further than this source – which only goes to prior to 1834. We’ll instead go back to the 1^st half of the 17^th Century to the year, c.1622. After the failure of King directed Communism (which had failed in Jamestown) also had failed in Plymouth by their second year. Governor Bradford said, “At length, after much debate … the governor, gave way that they should set corn every man for his own purpose, and in every regard trust to themselves … and so assigned to every family a parcel of land according to the proportion of their number, (History of Plymouth, 1606-1642, pp.160-162.)” Thus going from the common sharing – with the hard working and those who were unwilling to work because they didn’t have to one were everyone had to ‘root hog – cultivate – plant and tend; or die – of starvation.’ 

Root; hog or die is the polar to communism (or in today’s world socialism or sharing the wealth of those who work and/or earned – with those who do nothing) and this was learned very early in all of the colonies on the Eastern Seaboard of the new world. Again to quote William Bradford – governor of the Plymouth Colony, “The experience that was had in this common cause and condition, tried sundry years, and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince (demonstrate) the vanity of that conceit of Plato and other ancients – applauded by some in later times – that taking away of property, and bringing it into a commonwealth, would make them happy and flourishing as if they were wiser than God, ibid,”

In the above I’ve mentioned the Jamestown Colony. This was established at the beginning of the 1600’s – and had issued a charter which mandated ‘voluntary communism’ which by 1611 had failed terribly. The company which had mandated this mistake (the London Company) revoked this mandate and established the rule of each person to survive on their own. Soon after the colony did much better!

If a people or nation want to encourage anthesis they must allow for growth separate from another – each person is to be able to rise to their level of goals set and accomplished. Nowhere in the Bible is the idea of communal life – communism – socialism found in the Scriptures! Indeed, communal life is nothing more or less than the plan which Lucifer offered in the pre-existence. One must remember his plan would provide for all – none would be lost – all would be saved and none would have to do anything. There were two plans – first, one which would require each individual to use their agency to survive the tests of mortality! The second, plan did not require agency or personal choice – all would be saved in mortality – however, there would be Celestial reward – only that to be an administering servant to Satan – for the glory would be his. Now many in the world while having voted for the first plan – have instead in mortality adopted the second plan. However, this choice is far more dangerous – because being evicted from the heavens with one-third of the host of heaven – have absolutely nothing to offer – zero – a void – darkness – zilch – and come of naught in their test of mortality.

It must be remembered that those who’ve adopted the second plan – believe they’re in control of their lives and also have the right to control everyone else’s life. Sadly, because of this they’re called; kings, queens, dictators, rulers, and other such names – but maybe the best is Mongol. In many aspects in the United States today we’ve a government – made up of Senators, Judges, Congresspersons, and even the office of President which now is held by a different person than before it seems not much has changed except the hatred in the nation has become extreme. The Congress and the DNC/MSM and RINO’s who feel that Plato was correct and they are the chosen one’s to make all of our decision – to distribute wealth – violate the laws of God – and void his divine instrument of the Constitution. This government has enlisted the aid of the media industry, television, movies and most importantly the music or entertainment industry. (Note: let’s understand not all of the Senators, Congresspersons or Judges have adopted the second plan – yet for some reason they have not the ability to stop this wave of insanity to violate the freedoms of the working class Americans who are legal citizens.) It is in part – a large part due to three reasons of those who’ve adopted Plato – Socialism and the denial of freedom. The first is the overwhelming influence of the immoral flood of the entertainment world. The first way to counteract the ‘still small voice of the Spirit’ is to create a distraction – the music, games, and distractions of the entertainment world have accomplished this goal – without any restrictions as to content – value – or virtue. The second is the acts of those who have claimed leadership in this nation. Their behavior is selfish, wanton and without regard to the laws of the land. The third – the media who continue day and night to promote the ideas of Plato and Augustine, Calvin and many others – in their support of lies, socialism, defamation of any good, repetitively repeating rhetoric until many accept what is without merit as having merit and even is true!

In previous essays I’ve mentioned ‘strange slips’ and ‘lees’ and in this one the saying, ‘root hog or die.’ Each has to till the earth (of their inner soul) and plants and tend to their Spiritual wellbeing. It is actually quite easy – but the worldly make it seem impossible. We must remember that the Father and the Son have never asked us to do anything which was impossible. Thus we’ve to prepare – do – and eventually find the solutions to our problems or obstacles to be overcome. We must truly remember that each person’s obstacles will be different (maybe similar) but each person is their own individual. Those tools we have are our ability to pray – to call upon Heavenly Father – (James 1:5) – and if we are prepared – clean – worthy – will gain the knowledge to do what we need to do – and answer our questions or obstacles. Now these answers may not come in the way we expect but they will come!

Yet if we have not done the tilling of the field – planted seeds – tended and cared for our harvest – there will be no harvest and there will be no answers forth coming! We’re the ones who have to be obedient to the laws, statutes and Commandments of Heavenly Father and the Son! Anyone who believes one only needs to be saved – and there is no need for works – does not believe literally the Scriptures. Repeatedly James, Paul, Peter, John, Isaiah, Job, Moses, Ezra, Malachi, and indeed all of the Prophets of the Old and New Testaments – the Book of Mormon – the Pearl of Great Price – and those Prophets alive today – have always taught the principle that ‘faith without works is dead!’ It is thoroughly understood that none of us could make without the ‘grace of God.’ What is not understood is what is this ‘grace?’ Grace is the power of God which allows us to keep going, to endure to the end, when we’ve done everything we can do to the best of our ability. Grace does not take away – either ‘faith’ or ‘works’ but adds to both of them. Grace

(This is taken from the Bible Dictionary: A word that occurs frequently in the New Testament, especially in the writings of Paul. The main idea of the word is divine means of help or strength, given through the bounteous mercy and love of Jesus Christ.

It is through the grace of the Lord Jesus, made possible by His atoning sacrifice, that mankind will be raised in immortality, every person receiving his body from the grave in a condition of everlasting life. It is likewise through the grace of the Lord that individuals, through faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ and repentance of their sins, receive strength and assistance to do good works that they otherwise would not be able to maintain if left to their own means. This grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts.

Divine grace is needed by every soul in consequence of the Fall of Adam and also because of man’s weaknesses and shortcomings. However, grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient. Hence the explanation, “It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do” (2 Ne. 25:23). It is truly the grace of Jesus Christ that makes salvation possible. This principle is expressed in Jesus’ parable of the vine and the branches (John 15:1–11). See also John 1:12–17; Eph. 2:8–9; Philip. 4:13; D&C 93:11–14.)

Therefore if we extend the saying, ‘root hog or die’ to be ‘root mankind or die’ and perceive the teachings of the Savior – we’ll know that there is one way to return to the Father and the Son – and that is by what we do with what we’ve given in this mortal test. Yes, of course one has to have faith – but one must also repent – be baptized and received the gift of the Holy Ghost (which only one Church has this authority on this earth at this time – as in all of the dispensations of the Gospel of Jesus Christ being on this earth have had.

Let me be quite clear each of you who read this most likely belong to a church of your choice and this is as it should be – but in the belief of the literalness of the Scriptures – then one must believe as I do that their church is the only true church on this earth at this time. Why? Because we know God is not a God of confusion, contention – but a God of order in all things. He would not have contradicting beliefs taught and call it His church! Paul addressed this when he appealed to the congregation, “1 Cor. 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?”

The most important aspect of the saying, ‘root hog or die’ is that we must not be dependent upon government or socialism/communism to provide for our needs. Yes there are government programs which we’ve paid into to help us in disability and or injury and retirement; but these were earned through our efforts in working and providing. However, if there are those who are gathering in these social benefits having not contributed – having not become a legal citizen – but instead are entitled by a government which has exceeded its Constitutional restraints – then there is something seriously wrong on the tangible side of the equation. Yet, let us remember that, ‘root mankind or die’ in a Spiritual context deals with our eternal salivation – i.e. returning to our Heavenly Father and our Savior in the highest degree of glory of the Celestial Kingdom – with our families – (both our progenitors and our posterity) which is something no government (except a Theocracy under the Father and the Son) can provide. If one is indolent, wicked, evil, and immoral, doesn’t abide the Commandments, doesn’t make covenants with the Father and the Son and other understandings found in the Scriptures – then they have no promise other than that of the Atonement that they will be resurrected. As found in Paul there are three kingdoms for those who are resurrected – The Celestial: The highest of the three degrees of glory that a person can attain after this life. Here the righteous will dwell in the presence of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. The glory of the celestial is one:1 Cor. 15:40; ( D&C 76:96;) The second of the three degrees of glory in which people will dwell after the final judgment. Paul saw a terrestrial glory, likened to the glory of the moon:1 Cor. 15:40–41; The lowest of the three degrees of glory in which people will dwell after the final judgment. Paul saw a glory of the stars:1 Cor. 15:40–41. There is one more – but this is called ‘outer darkness’ for those who cannot abide any of the three mentioned. Each individual will inherit that which they’re able to abide!

How are we doing in our intangible lives? Most can tell how we are doing in our tangible lives by the way we live – what we have stewardship (for no one truly owns anything material but have them for a while until no longer useful, rust or moth corrupts, or we die) over while living. Are we found digging into the Scriptures – are we planting seeds of good value – and do we harvest for both ourselves and others? Please carefully remember James 1:27, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” In the Book of Mormon – King Benjamin added to this, “Mosiah 4:16 And also, ye yourselves will succor those that stand in need of your succor; ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need; and ye will not suffer that the beggar putteth up his petition to you in vain, and turn him out to perish.

 17 Perhaps thou shalt say: The man has brought upon himself his misery; therefore I will stay my hand, and will not give unto him of my food, nor impart unto him of my substance that he may not suffer, for his punishments are just—

 18 But I say unto you, O man, whosoever doeth this the same hath great cause to repent; and except he repenteth of that which he hath done he perisheth forever, and hath no interest in the kingdom of God.

 19 For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and for gold, and for silver, and for all the riches which we have of every kind?

 20 And behold, even at this time, ye have been calling on his name, and begging for a remission of your sins. And has he suffered that ye have begged in vain? Nay; he has poured out his Spirit upon you, and has caused that your hearts should be filled with joy, and has caused that your mouths should be stopped that ye could not find utterance, so exceedingly great was your joy.

 21 And now, if God, who has created you, on whom you are dependent for your lives and for all that ye have and are, doth grant unto you whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing that ye shall receive, O then, how ye ought to impart of the substance that ye have one to another.

 22 And if ye judge the man who putteth up his petition to you for your substance that he perish not, and condemn him, how much more just will be your condemnation for withholding your substance, which doth not belong to you but to God, to whom also your life belongeth; and yet ye put up no petition, nor repent of the thing which thou hast done.

 23 I say unto you, wo be unto that man, for his substance shall perish with him; and now, I say these things unto those who are rich as pertaining to the things of this world.

 24 And again, I say unto the poor, ye who have not and yet have sufficient, that ye remain from day to day; I mean all you who deny the beggar, because ye have not; I would that ye say in your hearts that: I give not because I have not, but if I had I would give.

 25 And now, if ye say this in your hearts ye remain guiltless, otherwise ye are condemned; and your condemnation is just for ye covet that which ye have not received.”

Thus we’ve much to be doing! Hopefully we’ll each be found anxiously engaged in both learning, discerning and doing the Will of our Father in Heaven – seeking to be worthy servants in the vineyards and gardens during our mortal probation – and we must be in continual prayer for both our friends, enemies, government (especially those striving to preserve the Constitution) in the name of Jesus Christ – amen – c/ork

when in our pre-mortal estate;

harvesting timely each

courting the good things

becoming unspotted

pure, clean, humble;

Thus do we tenderly seek

discerning wisdom and truth

prayerfully considering all

learning our stewardships

able to do all we can do

worthy of the Atonement

and thus the Grace of God;

Is there understand more

carefully sifting the evil

getting rid of the chaff

inviting in the light

gaining knowledge true

clearing out the shadows

embracing Father’s love;

Do we help all to blossom

our time wisely engaged

doing Father’s will today

being obedient to His laws

His Commandments all

and His statutes written

is anthesis found within;

Have we increased truth

opened window closed

cherished friendships

blessed our surroundings

enable others to grow

tended to our gardens

is anthesis found without?

My Response:

Of course – mostly we slumber in this life – mundane things like making a living – playing games – unreal is the reality of what is found in the Scriptures – to the point most don’t believe what they read rather to believe what others tell them. Thus many believe nothing – for if what they’re told ‘doesn’t make sense’ they forget then it most likely not true. Thus these otherwise honest people slumber!

This is only our 2^nd Estate – mortality – where we’ve been given the agency to obey or not. Yet when we came here we covenanted to obey. The agreement was between us and Father. Then we were told by the Son – we’ve to endure to the end (given not just to the Apostles but to all of us). Thus waiting for life to awake would be partly the enduring to the end – but also understanding it means to have eternal life via our obedience. Those who keep their covenants will awaken to eternal life to be with the Father and the Son – their families generations without end.

Understand that this life is to be lived – alive – seeking further light and knowledge – conversing with the truth within the world – but not part of it.

Smile – the last sentence is accurate – most will never understand it – some do! The Father and the Son love us dearly – we’re to love them the same – we do this through total obedience to their Commandments – for years I searched for this understanding – knowing if the Scriptures were true (which I read at age 11) – then I’d find what they told me to look for. It took many years – but find it I did – most know me to be extremely through and I was. Thus my life awoke my waiting was over – to share this most important truth has been my mission ever since. Smile again – most who believe me to be truthful in all things still are reluctant due to worldly pressures to believe this one truth.  c

"The Leeward Side of the Boat"

"The Leeward Side of the Boat" cji  3/26/17

Once we left the garden - Satan's only plan was to destroy the family - for without the family there is no purpose in this life as the family is the only unit which will be intact on the other side of the veil!

Malachi 4:5 ¶ Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. 

While the whole purpose of this life is to return to Heavenly Father having been obedient to all of His Commandments - and one of the first actions taken within the Garden was the marriage of Adam and Eve - which was for time and all eternity (as yet there was no death). Death being described of that of the Spirit - which over the Scriptures this is carefully explained so anyone can understand it.

(Note: for those unable to understand or have been taught differently - Father's Son Jesus the Christ Restored His Church in these latter-days with Prophets and Apostles; the Priesthood of God; Temples; Elijah returning to restore the Keys of Sealing of Husbands and Wives and Families; and so much more ignored by almost all of this Earth's population. Most follow the teachings of men/women - properly trained in the schools of men/women much as were Augustine and Origen (founders of modern Christendom) after the Great Apostasy in the middle of the 2nd Century AD).

Satan rejoices in those who profess a belief but are not obedient to the Commandments - knowing that he's already won them over - knowing if they cannot understand such a simple statement, "If you love me - keep my Commandments" then they truly understand nothing else of importance in the Eternal Plan of Salvation! As for those with no profession of belief - they've already joined him and his minions with their belief in creatio-ex-niliho or nothing. Malachi addresses this in Chapter 3 as do most all of the Prophets found within the Scriptures. Only those worthy trying be found obedient in all things and keeping the covenants they've made with Father and the Son - are worthy to enter into the Sanctuary of the Lord (i.e. His Home on this Earth - the Temple).

Men and women can claim whatever they want - Augustine and Origen understood this and therefore allowed rhetoric to take over the Scriptures - and believe whatever they want - it is their choice - but it doesn’t make it of any value or true for their Eternal Salvation to return and live with Father once more. They teach that neither the Father nor the Son have physical bodies - yet all who've seen them know that they have - Moses, Stephen, Paul, and so many others - from the time of Adam and Eve until today! But men/women would rather believe the person they pay for their religion - or those self-appointed clerics/ministers/priests/rabbi's/lay persons/deacons/ and whatever other names they call themselves. Most are well paid, housed, clothed and can be fired or hired - told what is politically correct and give their preaching to the ears of the deaf - the blind who want not to see and numb without feelings - to satisfy peer pressure and appearances. Sadly many of the very elect - very good people - are led astray by the traditions of their fathers and beguiled into believing there is nothing more. Even the youth are given almost no chance with the chaotic messages of loudness surrounding them with all sorts of temptations - violence - and otherwise an undisciplined social atmosphere of today - while fifty years ago or 100 years ago or even a thousand years ago they said the same of their society. Disobedience - lewdness - lustfulness - has been with us since Cain - and all those who followed Satan from then onward.

We had a word to the wise when sailing if you're going to be sick make sure you're on the leeward side of the boat - the Savior told the Apostles when they met those who could not or would not be taught to shake the dust off of their shoes and go elsewhere to teach. Many times this is how it feels when writing/speaking/communicating with close and dear friends - unable to tell which the leeward side of the boat is. Recently in a discussion with a very devout person - he had been ordained a Catholic Priest - and had since converted to an Eastern Religion - when offered to read the thirteen Articles of Faith refused to do so - in that he had much more education than I did - and I was a fool to believe what I believed. We're still friends socially - however, his mind is closed to anything I've to offer - why - because it is foolishness? Or because if it is true then he'd have to admit he's been fooled by the teachings of men/women? All that I've written or said can be validated in the Scriptures - common sense - and or by the most important way - personal prayer (communications) between each with their Father in heaven with Jesus Christ as the conduit for them. This of course would require Faith - and being worthy to communicate with the Father and the Son prepared for whatever answers come forth (see James 1:4-10) with an open heart and contrite Spirit.

What is offered to all in the Scriptures (all of them) is for anyone who can learn and discern - but ignored for the benefit of peer pressure and to be accepted within the worldly today. The Scriptures teach of Jesus Christ - Eternal Life - Plan of Salvation - Celestial Kingdom and Families! Satan will continue to win and rule over the worldly as long as they choose not to learn of: why they're here; where they came from; and where they will be going after death! Thus, unknowing which is the Leeward Side of the Boat - people use either and despoil the good with the already bad.

As Joshua said, Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 

Make your choices wisely – for your Eternal Life will depend upon it – obedience in all things – or only some picking and choosing allowing Satan to have his victory – where full obedience is the only way to defeat him. Remember – if you do make the Celestial Kingdom with your family intact – the highest degree of Glory achievable by man/woman via the Atonement of the Savior – then what have you except what you learned to expect from the teachings of man/woman? Which for some is sufficient rather having what they have here than what they might have as communicated by the Savior and the Prophet’s and Apostles hereafter.

Each Sabbath Day we consider

whence the wind is blowing

therefore to know windward

and to discern the leeward side

allowing for nature to be served

we either welcome what is taught

or we find we reject some or all

the boat is the Church as known

our voyage is booked sure

we come prepared for sailing

to leave the safe harbor to sea

understanding all taught is free

able to abide either railing

if all that’s taught is true

in the Gospel we have grown

hearing the clear clarion call

thus when sails wind is caught

bringing weather we deserved

knowing we’re on Father’s side

seeking a righteous reward

humble contrite knees bowing

Sabbath Day winds to stridor!
